The Monitoring of environmental conditions,
such as temperature and humidity is recognised as a key element of modern
quality assurance programmes. Internal quality standards, EU and Government
regulations, HACCP procedures and ISO9000 compliance dictate the need
to be able to verify the traceability of critical conditions for perishable
goods. Modern legislation including CFR-11 Part2 regulations, EFSIS and
other draft food temperature measurement policies require concise records
and audit trails to be maintained.
